Now remove the tie screws or idler gear shoulder screws depending on the model of the attachment. If the attachment does not have tie screws next to the dowel pins, then it will be necessary to remove the idler gear shoulder screws. CAUTION: Idler gear shoulder screws are left handed. To be removed, they need to be rotated clockwise.
Now remove the micro adjusting plug. The shoulder screw on this is a standard right hand thread. The micro adjusting plug screw is the only screw remaining that holds the two halves of the attachment together. Be sure to set the attachment down plate side up before fully removing this screw.
