Pushing the pins toward the gear box or plate side of the attachment, remove the drive gears. Be careful not to drop the thrust washer(s) from behind the drive gear on the adjustable side of the attachment. Try to keep the pins and gears together for each side.

With the thread rolls, pins, gears and thrust washers removed, the plate and sub plate can now be separated from the block.
