Remove the roll pins by loosening only the outside set screws. Then push the roll pins out toward the gear box side of the attachment just enough to remove the thread rolls. This will leave the drive gears and thrust washer(s) in place until they are ready to be removed.

By loosening the outside set screws first, the setting between the thread roll dies will be maintained
